Bioparc Valencia

Inside this zoo you will find a wide variety of species, a great place to spend the morning or afternoon as a family while kids are impressed admiring the beautiful animals.

What can you expect?

It’s divided into areas or habitats such as “Sabana Africana” with zebras, ostriches, African elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos and more. There’s also “Bosque Ecuatorial” with leopards, hippos, tortoises, gorillas and more. “Humedales Africanos” has some impressive frog species with astonishing colours, crocodiles and hippos. “Isla de Madagascar” has beautiful flamencos, pelicans and different species of lemurs that are very impressive to see. The biopark also holds games and activities for the little ones such as classifying the animals and learning about different species using the alphabet.

How to get there

Want to use public transport? From the centre of Valencia, take the line 5 metro and stop at “Nou d’Octubre”. It will leave you 10 minutes away from the park.

A taxi might be a good option as it’s a 15-minute ride. Always check with your hotel on what options you have available as they will use reputable companies.
