Great places to visit in Eivissa (Ibiza Ciudad)

Here you will find some activities to help you keep your little ones entertained for a few hours with all the beautiful spots and landmarks within Ibiza's capital city!
Dalt Vila (historic neighbourhood)
It wouldn’t be a proper trip to Ibiza without a visit to the historic neighbourhood of the capital: Dalt Vila. Wear some proper footwear and walk through the hills of these charming streets, lovely local stores, delicious restaurants and an especially unique charm!
Necrópolis de Puig des Molins (necropolises of Puig's Mills)
It may not sound like a very nice place to be, but it’s one of the oldest necropolises in the Mediterranean and with a very important cultural significance. Thanks to its high location, the view is also incredible and there is a museum as well. From there you can walk through the nice route ending up in the “Paseo Marítimo”.
Muralla (Wall/Fortress)
A renaissance wall that surrounds all of the historic neighbourhood, Dalt Vila. You can access it through Portal Nou, one of the 5 entrances of the wall. It’s always a nice family time to enjoy a stroll with the kids through the historic side of the city and admiring the wall and charming streets.
Catedral de Santa María (Saint Maria's Cathedral)
This Cathedral was built in the highest point within Dalt Vila. It’s a classic Catalan-gothic architectural design and definitely a worth checking out while visiting the city.
Baluard de Sant Bernart (Bastion of Saint Bernart)
Right next to Santa María’s Cathedral there’s the entrance to the city’s castle, another part of the history of Ibiza. To get the most wonderful and astonishing view of the Mediterranean Sea and Formentera we recommend you to head to Baluard de Sant Bernart.
Plaza de la Vila (Plaza of the Village)
Inside the historic neighbourhood you will probably the most importante plaza of the city. It holds many art galleries, local stores with handcrafted items and delicious restaurants such as La Torreta.
Barrio de la Marina (Marina's neighbourhood)
Located in-between the historic wall and the port, Marina’s neighbourhood is created out of fishermen houses and shipyards from the port. Enjoy a nice stroll through Mercat Vell and Plaza de la Constitució and go through some of the commercial streets such as Sa Creu or Castelar.
Paseo Marítimo (Maritime Promenade)
Being a city located right at the port of Ibiza’s Island, the maritime promenade is definitely a must! We love to enjoy a nice stroll with the kids while feeling the nice summer breeze, then stopping at some of the best restaurants to eat within the city – right by the port for the most amazing and picturesque lunch spot!
Barrio de Sa Penya (His Rock's neighbourhood)
Another important neighbourhood from Ibiza that’s worth visiting during your family trip. It’s a very lively and charming part of the city. We especially love getting lost through its picturesque streets such as Carrer Fosc, Retir, Alt, Vista Alegre and Pedrera – ending up in a lovely plaza such as Sa Drassaneta.
Iglesia de Santo Domingo (Saint Sunday's Church)
Down the stairs of Baluard de Santa Tecla you will reach to the gorgeous church of Santo Domingo. Once you head outside, you can admire the view with charming fishermen houses and the Sea.
